Organic Mulling Spices

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A delicious blend of certified organic herbs, fruit, and spices to make hot mulled wine and hot spiced cider. YES!- this is the mulled wine that was at The Grace Holiday Market. Pair this with your favorite bottle of red for a beautiful gift! Or mull up some home made hot apple cider on Christmas Eve. 

INGREDIENTS: 

Organic Orange Peel, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Cloves, Organic Allspice.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: 

Hot Spiced Cider: Combine 1 quart of apple cider or fruit juice (cranberry or orange juice), 1 culinary bag of mulling spices, and 1 cinnamon stick. Variations: Add 1oz. Of brandy or rum. Heat to just below boiling point. Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer for thirty minutes.

Hot Mulled Wine: Combine 1 quart of port or red wine, 1 culinary bag of mulling spices, 1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice, 1/8 cup brown sugar, and 1 cinnamon stick. Heat to just below boiling point. Reduce heat, cover pot and simmer for thirty minutes.
