Acorns, Squirrels and Grace Green Beauty

Oct 18 2015

At Grace Green Beauty we’re like squirrels. We’re obsessed with acorns. They don’t do much for our skincare products but they sure help us spread the concept of grace. We’ve realized that such a tiny thing can, with a little loving, spread grace as it germinates and grows into a strong, majestic oak tree. As you know, oak trees aren’t just any old tree. They are tall and strong, providing, shade, lumber and truly sturdy limbs for some of the best tree houses a kid can build. They represent truth, stability, wholesomeness and nobility. And it’s really fun to jump in a pile of its leaves. So why are we nuts about acorns and oak trees?  Because the process from germination to growth are the essential elements for how we at Grace Green Beauty spread grace throughout the world. My Departure From The Salon Industry | Grace Green Beauty Full Time

Aug 14 2015

My dearest friends,   It is with mixed emotions—an eager heart, hopeful anticipation, joy, trepidation, and yes, sadness and fear—that I pen this post informing you of my departure from the salon industry.    I’ve been honored to work alongside a cast of excellent colleagues, all the while being granted so many opportunities to grow and develop not only in my career, but personally as well.  For more than a decade, it has been an honor, privilege and delight to provide hair and beauty care for friends who have become like dear family members.  Over the years I have looked forward to seeing many of you on a regular basis, refreshing not only your outer beauty, but hopefully your inner beauty too, as you’ve done for me by sharing yourself and pouring into my heart and soul.  Together we have celebrated all of life’s joys—weddings, births (three of my own!), graduations, career successes and yes, sadness.  Thank you—each and every single one of you–for your support during my time with Kim Harper and during Grace Green Beauty’s launch and formative years.  Your guidance, support, encouragement, comfort, and moreover friendship, have kept me strong.  A million thanks to you.  I treasure the time we’ve shared together.  You’ve all become a part of me, and by virtue of that—a part of Grace Green Beauty.   If you know me, then you know my passion is to serve others, my family and beauty.  I’ve been graced with such an amazing opportunity by way of Grace Green Beauty, allowing me to combine all three.   Words cannot convey the pure joy I derive in providing you with honest, holistic beauty products. Thank you for believing in and trusting me.   It’s supremely important to me that we stay in touch. I invite you to accompany […]
