Do You Know Someone Who Could Use A Blessing?

Jul 07 2016

Nominate someone for this months Gift Of Grace.   Hello everyone! I am writing to extent a new opportunity that I think you will love! Each month, I find great joy in blessing someone through a  special delivery of Grace Green Beauty. Sometimes it’s someone that I know. Sometimes it is a random person that I notice. Sometimes it’s someone that I have heard about. I’ve learned to listen to the spurs of my heart indicating who I should  extend Grace to (and I am not just talking about the wellness line). It brings me great joy and also healing when I bless others. I am extending this opportunity to you! Do you know someone who could use a blessing? Every month, please send your nominees to my personal email. I will choose one each month. This lucky person will receive a special delivery right to their front door. There will be no trace of who has sent this gift, just a simple note that assures them that they are loved. This costs you nothing! Before I ask you some questions about your nominee, I want to remind you of one thing!… Grace isn’t always rainbows and roses. Sometimes, showing Grace to someone means, showing favor to a person who might not deserve it. We all have someone(s) in our life who have wronged us. I challenge you to consider nominating that person who might not deserve it. If you aren’t ready to do that today, maybe some day in the future! Let the fun begin! … 1. Who? Name and shipping address. 2. Why?  Why should this person be granted a beautiful gift of Grace? 3. What products do you think they might like? 4. Have they used GGB before? If your nominee is chosen, we will let you know! We will ask them […]

To The Mother Of The Boy Who Fell Into Gorilla World | Cincinnati Ohio

May 30 2016

To The Mother Of The Boy Who Fell Into Gorilla World I am writing to you with hope that amongst the myriad articles, posts and comments circulating worldwide, this letter reaches you and you are brave enough to open it. It stands to reason you’ll be hesitant. People have been quick to point accusatory fingers. I’m certain the overwhelming vitriol has you guarding and protecting yourself from passionately fueled individuals seeking justice through any avenue and venue available. But, you need to read this. As a mother of three, and owner of a green company who supports animal welfare and our responsibility to the world at large, I have a message you need to hear. How about a little grace? Do I mourn the loss of Harambe? Yes, I do. He was an incredibly majestic creature housed at and protected by the Cincinnati Zoo. I say protected, because he was was an endangered species. His presence was profound and our family enjoyed his egotistic personality time and time again. I presume you are regretful for the part you ultimately played in the death of this magnificent animal. But I extend grace to you. I’ve watched criticism morph into anger and have read terrible comments and judgement to the full degree. And yes, I’ve even seen death threats. But I grant you grace. Even the best parents have lost sight of their child for a split second, myself included. It’s a feeling a parent doesn’t forget. Even the best people have made catastrophic mistakes. The difference being, your experience is now in the public eye, ripe for scrutiny, second-guessing and a plethora of if onlys. It is easy to point fingers from behind a computer screen, smart phone or tablet. But you must bear in mind, sadness oftentimes gives birth to […]

My Sacred Journey of Gratitude and Where You Fit In

Nov 21 2015

I am a Pilgrim. I don’t wear large gold buckles on my hat and shoes, but a pilgrim, I am! A pilgrim by definition is someone who has made a sacred journey. So often people focus on the Pilgrims having a feast with a bunch of Indians instead of how a group of 100 people risked so much to come to a strange new place. They lived off the land and almost starved. If it weren’t for the guidance and generosity of the Native Americans, the Pilgrims probably would not have survived their endeavor. This Thanksgiving, as I continue my own journey, I have special thanks for my Indians. My Indians come in many forms. Family, friends, teachers, animals, even strangers! They are anyone or anything who has contributed to my journey with Grace Green Beauty or my personal journey as an evolving human being. I did not choose some of my Indians, I chose others, and some were strategically placed in my life at a specific time to see me through a specific situation. All orchestrated by God, himself. I am a pilgrim who truly appreciates each and every one of you. Leading my (amazing) husband and me through this journey each day is our awesome God. My strength, my redeemer, my creator, my teacher, my GOD! I am awestruck every day about how God watches over me and blesses me with so much. His guidance I seek, and as I continue to grow in Faith, the guidance comes more and more natural. It’s hard to express the magnitude of my gratefulness. Nick and I are so fortunate to be able to walk this walk under Gods guidance as we share with our children all God has created. Grace Green Beauty will donate 10% of all sales on December 1 […]
